still snowing

It really is irritating to have a snow storm on the 30th of April when it should be lovely spring weather. First it rained and now its snowing. My poor tulips and daffodils have been pounded into the ground. Hmmph. Anyway in spite of a very slow start to my day I have managed to be productive. I mosaic tiled my back splash in the downstairs bathroom. (Grouting will take place tomorrow). I baked bread and ran a couple of errands. I plan to spend my evening making puppets for the ladies at the University.

I also started this blog today. I have wanted to do it for awhile now and finally I have gotten around to it. I find writing cathartic and have kept a journal for years. This will be a new twist on that concept for me. Not sure what I intend this blog to be. Could be crafty stuff, I am a quilter, knitter, crocheter, wanna be weaver and spinner. It could be about my day to day life or it could be about all the things that fascinate and bother me. I think I will just let it take me wherever it wants me to go.

I also have to learn how to work all this stuff, like upload photos etc but that will come with time. Plus I am not the best typist and my spelling is not what it should be, so please ignore the errors and think kindly of me.

Must go knead the bread one more time.
